Who is tryp?

“Music has been in my blood since the beginning. My first experience with music started when my dad first put drumsticks in my hands, igniting a spark that would grow into a lifelong passion. At the same time, my mom’s obsession with Michael Jackson filled my world with sound, rhythm, and emotion. When MJ passed, it was more than just a global event—it was a turning point in my life, a moment that made me realize how deeply music could connect people, shape identities, and leave a lasting impact.

But my path hasn’t been easy. Since the age of 14, I’ve been battling a heart condition that makes daily life more challenging than most. The struggle, the anxiety, and the constant fight have only fueled my artistry, pushing me to channel every emotion into my music. Every beat, every lyric, every performance comes from a place of resilience and raw authenticity. I have a desire to make people turn their heads and be a part of this movement of mine.

That energy has taken me to stages alongside some of the industry’s rising names, opening for artists like CupCakke, Wifisfuneral, YSN Flow, EST Gee, and more. Whether it's in the studio, on stage, or through my words, my mission is to create music that moves people—the same way it moved me when I heard Michael sing for the first time.”
