Who is chunk?

Cid Kidd is an artist, songwriter, and rapper from Cleveland Ohio known for his diversity on many different songs from illusive wordplay on songs like the Snow City Series to his hardcore underground sounds like on the track title Crit Shot to his all-around vibe match to just about any beat. Cid fell in love with music at an early age playing guitar with his father’s band and even being brought up on stage from time to time to play. Continuing growing up with his love of music he would spend day and night finding music he loved and becoming more and more inspired by it to where he then started writing his music. Going through high school Cid and his friends would often smoke and jokingly freestyle eventually getting to the point where it was every session and became good and one friend got his studio set up. Messing around a bit with it they didn’t think it was even possible for the music to be heard by anyone so packed it up. Then a couple years later Cid began writing and taking Rap seriously after seeing how possible it was so he opened up his notes and started writing.

After about a year of writing and making songs over YouTube beats Cid had finally made a song that he knew was ready to be released as his first song (Paradox) on SoundCloud. After getting nearly 500 listens within the first few days and positive reviews Cid decided that he had found his flow and wordplay with this single and continued to build from there on. From there he released 2 more songs on SoundCloud and then started releasing on all platforms with his EP Titles We’re All Mad Here features 5 tracks that would not only kickstart his drive but fuel his inspiration to continue making music.

Throughout the next couple of years, Cid continued making music working a full-time job coming home from 3-4 pm going straight to sleep, and waking back up at 11 pm to go straight into the studio all night. He found that this was the best way for him to “lock in” and not have any distractions because all his friends would be asleep while he could make music uninterrupted locking himself in there all night. He went on to make singles and EPs such as Lost Kidd and many diverse singles accumulating thousands of listeners.

Cid had his first-ever show opening for RITTZ a popular artist from the early 2000s and 2010s. With nearly 300 people there Cid had no idea what to expect. He got on stage and played his first song and the crowd loved it. From there on Cid has played countless amounts off shows and eventually got ties with Westside Productions. From there he went from only selling a couple tickets to a show to winning a crowd contest which landed him an interview with Westside Productions. Having consistently high sales at every show being a crowd pleaser and a fan favorite with his crowd control and audience interaction, he’s accumulated loving fans and a boisterous crowd even getting encores at some of the shows.

With Westside Productions Cid began making noise with the shows playing multiple sold-out shows with 300 plus people and even opening for big names like Wifisfuneral, and continues to grow and play shows.

Cid Kidd’s main goal is to just have a good time and make music for the world to share and to connect together. He wants everyone to be able to just enjoy life, listen to music, and keep things simple. He wants the world to smile and to appreciate good music.
